Single/Continuous play modes Just as in most CD players the HDC-500 lets you choose between playing on song at a time (Single Mode) and continuing on to the next song on the playlist (Continuous Mode).

Shuffle Mode for unattended playback Once you have created a playlist with the Cortex software or even if you just have a group of songs on a media storage device in no particular order, Shuffle Mode will randomly play all the music on that particular device and automatically fade from one song to another unattended.

Auto-fade mode Every DJ knows not every song ends just right, In Auto-Fade mode the HDC-500 will look for the actual musical ending of a song and fade it in to the next song, Fully Adjustable between 1- 12 sec and whether in Shuffle mode or continuous mode the HDC-500 will eliminate the gap's of air between songs for smooth continuous playback.

Two time display modes The HDC-500 will let you see time displayed in two modes, time remaining represents how much time is left on a track/song or Time Elapsed which will display how far into a track you are.

Dmix-300 Product Recall

GCI-Technologies, Edison NJ. A voluntary recall on the Dmix-300 was issued on December 27th 2007. This recall relates to a possible hardware failure that could result in the unit "freezing" during playback. This freezing is caused by excess pressure when pressing of the CUE/PLAY buttons that causes the PCB to bend and make the buttons lock, giving the impression that the software has "frozen" If you purchased a Dmix-300 with a serial number from 310700001 to 310701975 that does not have a white sticker on the rear panel which says QC - 2008/01 please call our Customer Service (toll free) on 1-866-4491200 to arrange for your unit to be returned for a minor modification. Customers should NOT return the unit to the place of purchase.
